The extension of the castle in Lower Part of Vítkovice will serve as a pavilion for garden parties of the owner and his guests. The building is designed in the same symmetrical shape as the opposite wing of the castle; however iron and a completely contemporary design concept were used. The top surface, which is designed to serve refreshments and holding speeches, overhangs on pull-rods fixed to the steel truss. The entire surface is hot dip galvanized with zinc, the frame is bolted together. Some historical profiles made in the time the ironworks founded were used for the construction. I called the building Smaltárium (eng.: enamelarium) because its walls will serve to exhibit enamel paintings that are created at the annual Smaltart symposia.
