The basic idea of the house is to revive the historic traditional forest. Its adaptation to today’s needs, technical possibilities that preserve the original function, ie care for the forest, the landscape, the environment. In addition, the study solves this problem philosophically, proposing the ideological connection of man with nature, the harmony of functions and essence of the natural framework and man determined to coexist with this framework, live in it and care for it, help to fulfill its functions.
The archetypal form of individual buildings is tightened as a result in the exterior, also by involvement in the center of the forest in which it is located. The interiors are then a reference to the above-standard equipment of forest residences of past centuries, but in a completely contemporary spirit.
The completely built-in original layout was demolished, including part of the ceiling, to create a flowing, clearly defined space with a number of spatial experiences. The social area with a large kitchen and dining room in a greenhouse over two floors is in contrast to the white boxes of bedrooms creating the atmosphere of intimate forest dwellings on a small scale. The interiors of these bedrooms are made of wood and stone.
The building is complemented by a water surface and one original barn, which are the subject of further enrichment of the architecture of the entire complex. The pond and barn will be used for recreational as well as economic functions.
The entire land, which was formerly a forest nursery, is recultivated and connected in a refined form to the surrounding landscape in the depths of the forest.
