Fránek Architects

The project is part of the Cultural Heritage of Cape Verde which aims to develop the touristic potential of the lesser-known destinations of Cape Verde and the preservation of historically and culturally significant sites. Revitalization of the Presidential Palace preserves existing objects that form the background for tourists, accommodation and exhibition spaces. There is large outdoor space with a stage for open-air events in front of the palace. Another part of the proposal is educational trail about Cape Verde Islands. Individual houses are inspired by local architecture and its colour and size represent individual Cape Verde Islands.
