One of the most beautiful pearls of Empire style architecture in the Czech Republic is Kačina castle, Velké Opatovice. We have succeeded in renovating the interior while keeping it’s character intact. The reconstruction of interiors included a new utilization in one part of the castle as well as an instalation of exposition about Czech countryside life in the other part. We have managed to preserve graceful, colourful details of the original wall coverings, floors, and ceilings, therefore our intervention remained invisible. We have developed completely transparent furniture especially for those interiors, which would not interfere with the original valuable architectural features. The Kačina castle was brought back to life with the exhibition, a rich program of the Czech countryside life. The exposition in Mladá Boleslav castle as well as a reconstruction and new utilization of Miroslav castle are being prepared.
