The design of the new building of the Multidisciplinary Center connects the Faculty of Design and Art and the research center New Technology Center of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen.
It is our effort to make the house as environmentally friendly as possible. To be maximally self-sufficient and considerate for nature. To use 100% rainwater, wastewater to treat in its own façade root wastewater treatment plant and use it to water rich greenery throughout the site. To work with the help of greenery with the thermal stabilization of the building, ie. so that the building does not heat its surroundings, but cools down, and so that this system is used for cooling inside the building. The inner atrium in the main entrance part is protected from sunshine by mature greenery from the growing terrain and outdoor screens. The atrium in the second part of the building is complemented by greenery of lower stature so that it also creates a pleasant climate.
